Backend selling is without a doubt one of the best techniques you can introduce into your marketing if you are not using it. If you can make a lot on the front end, then you can literally kill it on the backend. What you want to do when you implement it is attract new customers and then offer them additional products in the ordering process.

These people are almost ready to become a warm prospect, so they are very open to selling something to them.

What all that means for you is that your job of converting them has just become a whole lot easier. When you are marketing to them with email, then you can schedule your offers at an appropriate time.

Not only are your customers real people, obviously, but they represent value in your business. Always make them feel like they are important and appreciated in your business. Your actions must be genuine because if they are then it will have a greater impact. We do not recommend waiting more than a week to make this communication.

Have the willingness to employ some creative thinking and approaches with your backend marketing. How you choose to make them feel special is up to you, but you can create a lot of goodwill by doing something. If you feel like doing so you can host special sales and make them aware of it if you send some kind of ecard, etc. It is possible that newer IM marketers just do not want to be bothered with backend marketing. The backend represents real growth and profit potential, so avoid passing on it. Backend marketing has been around for a very long time, before the net, and it flat out works.
